Monogrammed Lamp

An enlarged version of a © Northern Shades design, this Sherbrooke Cone pattern is 8-sided and approximately 19" high to the top of its finial. The shade is 14" wide and rests on a four-sided Mission style antique bronzed base with pull chain. It is topped by a vented brass vase cap with polished copper patina and a decorative finial.

The primary color of the shade is mauve-light purple-white streaky opalescent with an angled mid-band of light mauve-white opal glass. The bottom edges are accented dense purple opalescent glass with two monogrammed letters ¾" high using the color of the mid-band. Continuous reinforcing wire is used all around the top and bottom edges of the shade. A polished copper patina finishes off all of the solder work.
