Standing 6-1/2" tall x 13-1/2" long, the varying color tones and surface textures are cuts from different areas of the same piece of glass. A blackish-brown-gray mottled opalescent glass with whitish streaks is faced backside out with body and tail rings reflective of the real animal.

Continuous topside reinforcing strip from tail to nose provide rigidity to this piece. A polished black antique bronzed patina was applied throughout including on the solder drop eye.
